Galvanized square pipe is a hollow square section steel pipe with square cross-section shape and size made of hot-rolled or cold-rolled galvanized strip steel or galvanized coil as blank, which is formed by cold bending and then high-frequency welding, or a galvanized square pipe made by hot-dip galvanizing of pre-made cold-bent hollow steel tube.
Uses
Since the galvanized square pipe is galvanized on the square tube, the application range of the galvanized square pipe has been greatly expanded compared with the square pipe.
It is mainly used in curtain walls, construction, machinery manufacturing, steel construction projects, shipbuilding, solar power generation brackets, steel structure engineering, power engineering, power plants, agricultural and chemical machinery, glass curtain walls, automobile chassis, airports.
Galvanized pipe are used in structural projects, shelves, racks, trailers and in ornamental purpose. The framework made by square steel tubes, is used for providing support to the roof. This framework is also used as roof top ventilation baffles. With compare to round steel pipes, square steel pipes are little more efficient.
