Basing on the raw materials of high quality hot-rolled coil which has removed iron oxide after picked, cold-rolled sheet is made through reversing cold rolling deformation imposed on the group, annealing, formation, and exactness processes, including plate and volumes. A steel sheet, which is also known as box board or plate, is for delivery in sheets. A long roll known as the steel delivery is also known as coil.

• Production Process

The sheets are not heated duing the process, so there are no pitting and skin defects such as iron oxide, but good-quality and smooth surface. And the accuracy of the cold-rolled products' size is high. The performance and organization of the product can meet some special requirements, such as the electromagnetic properties, deep drawing properties.

• Performance: Mainly used in low carbon steel grades, requires a good cold bending and welding performance, and some stamping performance.

The application of surface oil to cold rolled steel sheet is intended to provide protection from corrosion ("rusting") during shipment and warehousing. Because cold rolled steel sheet is prone to rusting, standard practice is to apply a rust-preventative oil at the exit end of the temper mill (the last processing step). Rust-preventative oils are different than forming lubricants in that they contain special corrosion-inhibiting additions.
