Cold-rolled steel is steel produced by cold rolling. Cold rolling is a steel plates obtained by further rolling the No. 1 steel plate to a target thickness at room temperature. Compared with hot-rolled steel sheets, cold-rolled steel sheets have more accurate thickness, smooth and beautiful surface, and also have various superior mechanical properties, especially in terms of processing performance. Because cold-rolled raw coils are relatively brittle and hard, they are not suitable for processing, so usually cold-rolled steel sheets are required to be annealed, pickled and surface-leveled before being delivered to customers.

Cold rolled steel coils generally use hot-rolled strip steels with a thickness of 1.5-6 mm as the cold rolled billet. The main processes include pickling, cold rolling, degreasing, annealing, leveling, and shearing (cross cutting, longitudinal cutting). If producing coated plates, there are also plating or coating processes such as electroplating tin, hot tin coating, and hot zinc coating. The production process of cold rolled billets is as follows: hot rolled sheets coils (raw materials) - acid washing - cold rolling - degreasing - annealing - leveling - shearing - finished product delivery.
