Zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steel is a newly developed steel with a coating layer of 100-450g+/-10g, which has very strong corrosion resistance. The main components of coated steel sheets are zinc, about 11% aluminum, 3% magnesium and trace amounts of silicon.
Advantages of zinc, aluminum and magnesium:
1. The alloy coating of galvanized aluminum-magnesium steel plate is composed of zinc (Zn), aluminum (Al), and magnesium (Mg) that are solidified at high temperature to form a dense ternary eutectic structure, forming a dense and effective protective layer on the surface of the steel plate. 2. Excellent corrosion resistance: 5-10 times that of ordinary hot-dip galvanized steel sheets with the same coating.
3. Self-healing ability: The cutting end face and punching incision of the zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel plate will be dissolved over time, forming a dense protective film composed of zinc hydroxide, acidic zinc chloride and magnesium hydroxide. The protective film has low electrical conductivity and has a significant inhibitory effect on cross-section corrosion.
4. Excellent processability and damage resistance: Because the zinc, aluminum, and magnesium coatings are very dense and smooth, the surface hardness of the coating is 2.5 times that of ordinary zinc plating, making it have excellent processing properties such as stretching, stamping, bending, and welding. and excellent scratch resistance and abrasion resistance.
