Galvanizing is a well-known and effective method to add a protective layer to prevent the exposed steel from being corroded by natural elements. Zinc not only acts as a barrier between the environment and the steel, but it also decomposes first to protect the underlying steel and extend its service life. Zinc is generally represented by Z. Z is the abbreviation of English Zinc. Z275 means that the galvanizing content is 275 grams per square meter, and so on. The number after Z indicates the average coating content at three points on both sides of the galvanized steel in grams per square meter.
