Hot rolled 202 stainless steel coil has relatively low strength, poor surface quality (low oxidation/smoothness), but good high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, resistance to corrosion by acids, alkaline gases, solutions and other media. It is an alloy steel that is not easily rusted, but it is not absolutely rust-free. Generally medium-thick coil.
Chromium-manganese (200 series) austenitic stainless steel is developed on the basis of chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel by adding manganese and/or nitrogen to the steel instead of precious metal nickel. Its austenite element, Nitrogen is added in addition to manganese, and there is usually an appropriate amount of nickel (4% to 6%). Manganese in steel acts to stabilize austenite. Due to the strong formation of nitrogen and the stabilization of austenite and good solid solution strengthening, the strength of austenitic stainless steel is improved. Therefore, this series of stainless steel is suitable for bearing heavy load and the corrosion resistance is not too high. Used on equipment and components.
