Carbon steel is an iron-carbon alloy, which contains up to 2.1 wt.% carbon. For carbon steels, there is no minimum specified content of other alloying elements, however, they often contain manganese. The maximum manganese, silicon and copper content should be less than 1.65 wt.%, 0.6 wt.% and 0.6 wt.%, respectively.

Types of carbon steel and their properties
Carbon steel can be classified into three categories according to its carbon content: low-carbon steel (or mild-carbon steel), medium-carbon steel and high-carbon steel . Their carbon content, microstructure and properties compare as follows:

1. What kind of package will I get?
Generally it wll be standard exporting package. We can supply the package according to customers' requirement.

2. What's the differences between "cold rolled" and "cold rolled black annealed"?-The cold rolled black annealed steel coil will go through heating, while "cold rolled steel coil" will not heat again.
3. About the "oiled" surface
-Oiled surface is to prevent the steel from getting rust. While not all customers want the oiled surface. Generaly wesupply the product without oiled surface.
4. Customized Requirement.
-Product is available customized on thickness, width, surface coating thickness, logo printing, packing, slitting tosteel sheet and others. As each requirement is customized, so please contact our sales to get exact answer.
5. Do you supply sample?
-Yes, we provide sample. Generally sample is free of charge.While international courier isn't free. We will return the courier cost once we cooperate.Sample will be sent by air courier when weight less than 1kg
