Although zinc is an essential trace element for the human body, excessive zinc intake can cause acute toxicity (symptoms include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea).
Long-term excessive zinc intake can also interfere with the body's absorption of other trace elements, such as copper and iron.

2.What are the physical properties of the zinc coating?
The galvanized surface is not completely dense and non-porous; it may contain tiny pores that can harbor bacteria and make thorough cleaning and disinfection difficult.
The galvanized layer is relatively soft, and zinc dust or particles can break off and contaminate food if rubbed or scratched.

Use under specific conditions (extreme caution is required):
For the storage or transportation of dry, neutral foods (such as grains, flour, and sugar) at ambient temperature, the risk is relatively low. However, for the most stringent food safety requirements, the use of more inert materials is still recommended.

Austenitic stainless steel: This is the absolute mainstream choice.
304 stainless steel: The most commonly used, with excellent corrosion resistance and processability.
