PPGI and PPGL are usually used in the field of building materials as one of the important building materials. As building materials, the two are slightly different in performance, use, process and price. Today we will compare the differences in the substrates of PPGI and PPGL and the impact they bring.
The substrates of PPGI and PPGL are different. The substrate material of PPGI is mainly zinc, while the substrate material of PPGL is mostly aluminum.
The difference in substrates leads to a difference in performance between the two and a difference in application.
Secondly, there is a slight difference in weight between the two, which is caused by the fact that the substrate coating of PPGL covers more than the substrate coating of PPGI.
Due to the difference in substrates, there are also subtle differences in the appearance of PPGI and PPGL. Aluminum has better adhesion than zinc, so the surface of PPGL with a higher aluminum content as the substrate is smoother, and in terms of processing technology, PPGL can be painted directly, while PPGI requires pretreatment.
