DC01 Chemical Elements
DC01 is a European standard cold-rolled steel sheet. Its chemical elements primarily consist of iron (Fe), along with smaller amounts of carbon (C), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), and aluminum (Al). According to relevant standards, the chemical composition (by mass) of DC01 is as follows:
Carbon (C): ≤ 0.10%
Manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.50%
Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.025%
Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.035%
Aluminum (Al): Permissible residual content ≥ 0.020%
What are the mechanical properties of DC01?
DC01's mechanical properties primarily include the following:
Yield strength: ≤280 MPa.
Tensile strength: 270-410 MPa.
Elongation at break: Varies depending on thickness. For thicknesses ≤0.3 mm, δ5 ≥24%; for thicknesses 0.3-0.5 mm, δ5 ≥26%; for thicknesses 0.5-0.7 mm, δ5 ≥28%; for thicknesses 0.7-1.0 mm, δ5 ≥30%; for thicknesses 1.0-1.6 mm, δ5 ≥32%; and for thicknesses ≥1.6 mm, δ5 ≥34%.
Plastic strain ratio (r-value): Some data indicate that DC01's plastic strain ratio (r90) is ≥1.3.
Work hardening index (n value): According to the experimental data of "Metal World" of Beijing University of Science and Technology, the work hardening index n value of DC01 is between 0.173-0.211.
