What is the material grade of DX53D+Z galvanized steel?

DX53D+Z is a hot-dip galvanized steel grade under the European standard (EN 10346), which belongs to commercial grade high-formability galvanized steel:
DX: Commercial grade hot-dip galvanized steel code
53: Formability grade (deep drawing grade, better than DX51D/DX52D)
D: Hot-dip galvanized (Hot-dip Galvanized)
+Z: Pure zinc coating (GI)
Implementation standard: EN 10346 (corresponding to DC53D+Z in the national standard GB/T 2518)

DX53D+Z Will galvanized steel rust?

DX53D+Z will rust, but its zinc coating can significantly slow down the rust process. The specific anti-rust performance depends on the coating weight, the use environment and the maintenance method.
DX53D+Z uses hot-dip pure zinc (GI)
It can prevent rust for a long time under reasonable use conditions. Please note:
For normal environment (C1-C3), choose Z90 coating, which can last for 5-15 years
For high corrosion environment (C4-C5), Z120+ passivation or zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating is required
Avoid mechanical damage and acid-base contact, and check and maintain regularly

What is the chemical composition of DX53DZ?

The base material (steel strip) of DX53D+Z is usually low carbon steel, with typical composition range (%):
