What is the difference between AZ70 and AZ150?
Compared to ZINCALUME® AZ150 steel, a Zinc Aluminium coating of AZ70 will reduce the life of the product by more than 50% (or half the life).
What are the properties of Dx51d AZ150?
Dx51d AZ150 is a hot-dip aluminum-zinc steel alloy with a coating of 55 percent aluminum, 1.6 percent silicon, and 43.4 percent zinc. The chemical composition of Dx51d AZ150 offers superior resistance to heat and corrosion, with high thermal reflectivity and conductivity.
What does Z275 coating mean?
The specifications Z275 and Z600 refer to the zinc coating, measured in grams of zinc or aluminium/zinc per square metre. This measurement is the total coating mass on both sides of the steel.
What is DX51D z?
DX51D+Z275 refers to hot dip galvanising with a 275g/㎡ double-sided layer of Zinc. The purpose of hot dip galvanising is to prevent the steel substrate from rusting. Using 80g/㎡ of Zinc is quite common in a lot of galvanised products, but using 275g/㎡ of Zinc provides a premium galvanised product.
What is galvalume AZ150?
What does AZ150 mean? AZ150 means that in the triple spot test in the en 10346 standard, the minimum total coating mass on both surfaces of the aluminum-zinc alloy coating is 150g per square meter. Equivalent to Total Both Sides in ASTM a792 standard is 0.50 oz/square foot.
