Steel grating
Steel grating, also known as bar grating or metal grating, is an open grid assembly of metal bars. The bearing bars run in one direction and are spaced by rigid attachment to perpendicular cross bars or by bent connecting bars extending between them. This design is intended to hold heavy loads with minimal weight. Steel grating is widely used for floors, mezzanines, stair treads, fencing, trench covers, and maintenance platforms in factories, workshops, motor rooms, trolley channels, heavy loading areas, boiler equipment, and heavy equipment areas.
Steel Grating is welded bearing steel bars and cross twisted bars accoring to required pitch space between steel bars by steel grating welding machines.it is a grid building material.
All gratings are made using high quality standard steel materials which exhibit good hardness and high tensile strength. It is extremely strong, durable and corrosion resistance and great anti-slip performance.
Based on where the grating will be used and its load bearing requirements, steel bars are available in a range of spacing pitch, thicknesses and heights.
