1.What are the storage environment requirements for DX54D+Z?
Temperature and Humidity Control:
Storage warehouses must be dry and well-ventilated, with a relative humidity of 60% or less. Avoid condensation on the zinc coating caused by high temperatures and humidity (such as during the rainy season in summer). Storage in the open air or without shelter is strictly prohibited. (Even for short-term storage, cover with a tarpaulin and place it on elevated surfaces to prevent rainwater from soaking.)
Principle: Although the zinc coating is corrosion-resistant, minor damage to the zinc coating (such as scratches) in a humid environment can accelerate electrochemical corrosion of the substrate, forming "white rust" (zinc oxidation products) or "red rust" (substrate corrosion).
Avoid Corrosive Gases/Dust:
Acidic and alkaline chemicals, salts (such as de-icing salt), or volatile corrosive substances (such as paints and solvents) must not be stored in the warehouse. Dust must also be removed regularly (dust accumulation absorbs moisture, creating a localized corrosive environment).

2.What are the stacking specifications for DX54D+Z?
Elevation to Prevent Moisture:
Coils or sheets should be elevated on wooden pallets or steel supports (≥10cm high), away from the ground (which is prone to moisture), and the pallet should be flat to prevent localized deformation of the steel.
Preferably Store Coils Vertically:
DX54D+Z coils should be stacked vertically (with the axis perpendicular to the ground). Avoid horizontal stacking (long-term horizontal stacking can cause deformation under the weight of the coils, affecting smoothness during unwinding). The height of a single stack should not exceed three layers (adjusted based on the weight of the coils to avoid damage to the bottom layer of coils). The spacing between stacks should be ≥50cm to facilitate ventilation.
Protecting Sheets When Laying Flat:
Size sheets should be stored flat, with a single stack height ≤1.5m (to prevent bending of the bottom sheet). Kraft paper or plastic film can be placed between layers to prevent scratches caused by direct friction between the zinc layer and the sheet.

3.What are the packaging and protection requirements for DX54D+Z?
Keep the original packaging:
The factory waterproof packaging (such as PE film, kraft paper, or steel strapping) must remain intact and be removed only before use. If the packaging is damaged, promptly repair it with waterproof tape or re-cover with waterproof film to prevent moisture intrusion.
Avoid impact and scratches:
When stacking or transporting, do not allow sharp tools (such as forklift blades or wire ropes) to directly contact the zinc coating. Use soft cushioning materials (such as rubber pads) to protect edges and corners to prevent scratches on the zinc coating. Scratches can expose the substrate and become a starting point for corrosion.

4.What are the storage cycle control requirements for DX54D galvanized coil?
Strictly adhere to the principle of using within 6 months (DX54D+Z has a non-aging performance guarantee period of 6 months). Mechanical properties (such as elongation and yield strength) must be retested after 6 months to confirm that they meet processing requirements.
Perform regular inspections (every 15 days): Focus on checking for damage to the packaging and the presence of white or red rust on the zinc coating. If localized white rust is found, wipe it with a dry cloth and apply a small amount of zinc paint to prevent the rust from spreading.
5.How to protect the finished product of DX54D+Z?
Local Damage Repair:
If the zinc coating is scratched or damaged during use, promptly apply zinc-based repair paint or cold-dip galvanizing spray (zinc content ≥ 90%). Once dry, it will form a protective layer to protect the substrate from rust.
Finished Product Storage:
Finished products should avoid prolonged storage in humid environments. If stored, they should be covered with a waterproof membrane and regularly ventilated to prevent rust from affecting their appearance and performance.
