galvanized steel
Electrogalvanizing is suitable for outdoor use. Electrogalvanizing is a treatment method that attaches a zinc layer to the surface of steel by electrolysis. It has good corrosion resistance, aesthetics and economical practicality, so it is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
In outdoor environments, the corrosion resistance of electrogalvanizing is particularly important. The zinc layer can play a certain role in corrosion resistance on the surface of steel, can resist the erosion of most corrosive climates such as acid rain, and can also inhibit the oxidation corrosion of steel.
In addition, the galvanized coating has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, can effectively protect steel from mechanical wear and chemical erosion, and resist the erosion of most external environmental factors.

However, when using electrogalvanizing outdoors, you should also pay attention to the following points:
Surface treatment: Before electrogalvanizing, surface treatment must be carried out to remove dirt, grease, etc. on the surface. Otherwise, these dirt will affect the electrogalvanized layer after electrogalvanizing, resulting in the electrogalvanized layer being not firm.
Thickness selection: The thickness of the electrogalvanized layer must be thick enough to ensure sufficient corrosion resistance. It is generally recommended that the thickness of the electrogalvanized layer reach more than 13 microns.
Maintenance: During use, the electro-galvanized coating needs to be regularly maintained, including cleaning, painting, and preventing exposure to the sun, to ensure its durability.
In addition, the galvanized coating may fail in high temperature environments because zinc has a low melting point and high temperatures can easily cause it to melt, volatilize, or lose its protective effect. Therefore, other anti-corrosion measures may need to be considered in extremely high temperature outdoor environments.
