Regular Spangle galvanized steel roll is produced by cold rolls in different specifications with zine coating on the surface ,to prevent the steel surface from corrosion ,and to lengthen service time.
What Does Spangle Mean?
A spangle is the visible aesthetic feature of crystallites on the surface of a galvanized steel sheet. The spangle appears as either a snowflake or a six-pointed star pattern. This is produced on the steel sheet when certain alloying elements are either added to the liquid zinc or available as impurities.
The size and orientation of the zinc grain affects the corrosion and mechanical properties of the zinc alloy.
Spangles give the zinc coating a decorative appearance determined by orientations of the zinc crystals and the distribution of the alloying elements in the coating.

Hot dip galvanizing production
Have been rolled in the continunous cold-rolling mill and sent to the continonous hot-dip gavanizing line to wash electrolytically, the strip is first to be annealed in a continonous annealing furnace and then dipped in the molten zinc pot for hot-dip galvanization. The product is finally turned out after passivation or skin-pass, stretcher leveling and appropriate means of treatment. The steel base is galvanized, because the zinc can be formed a membrane on the surface which has good performance in corroding environment. It has not only protected the zinc layer but also protected the steel base. So its service life would be extended greatly. It has been used in architecture, electrial home appliances, auto mobile, receptacle, traffic etc.
