DX54D Steel
DX54D, the unique steel used in the ultra-deep canvas stamping processes, is completely non-crystalline and lends itself to extreme deformation. Its main characteristics are as follows:
Stress at the yield point: maximum 280 MPa
Tensile stress: maximum 400 MPa
Elongation properties: minimum 37% (up to 0.8 thickness)
Finish: Users may opt for any finish they prefer, ranging from normal to exceptional finishes
The range of thicknesses: In most cases, it ranges from 0.30 mm up to 3.00 mm
Coatings: Normally provided in the form of zinc and iron or zinc plus iron to offer improved protection from rust.
dx54d sheet plate. Strictly, consumers making heavy loads demanding products and exporting them strictly to a customer would require such product characteristics.

Chemical Composition of DX54D Steel
| Element | Content (%) |
| Carbon, C | 0.08 max |
| Manganese, Mn | 0.45 max |
| Phosphorus, P | 0.03 max |
| Sulfur, S | 0.03 max |
| Silicon, Si | 0.50 max |
| Aluminum, Al | 0.02-0.07 |
| Nitrogen, N | 0.012 max |
| Titanium, Ti | 0.30 max |
| Chromium, Cr | 0.20 max |
| Nickel, Ni | 0.20 max |
| Copper, Cu | 0.20 max |
Low Carbon (C): Ensures ductility and ease in deep drawing without compromising strength.
Controlled Manganese (Mn): Enhances strength and toughness.
Low Phosphorus (P) and Sulfur (S): Improves weldability and reduces brittleness.
Aluminum (Al): Acts as a deoxidizer, improving surface quality.
Titanium (Ti): Increases stability in forming, reducing cracks and defects during shaping.

| Anisotropy (R-Value, Min) | ≥ 1.6 | ≥ 1.6 |
| Strain Hardening Index (n-Value, Min) | ≥ 0.18 | ≥ 0.18 |
Moderate Tensile and Yield Strength: Provides enough strength for durability without sacrificing formability, suitable for automotive and appliance parts.
High Elongation: Allows significant stretching, enabling complex shapes without cracking.
Good Anisotropy (R-Value): Ensures consistent properties in different directions, reducing defects in deep-drawn parts.
Stable Strain Hardening Index (n-Value): Supports gradual deformation, which helps maintain structural integrity during shaping.
