SECC (Steel, Electrogalvanized, Cold-rolled, Commercial quality) is a stamping material, which is a zinc layer plated on the surface of cold-rolled plate. It is fingerprint-resistant, has excellent corrosion resistance, and maintains the processability of cold-rolled plate. It is rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, and the price is relatively high. The coating thickness is usually (single-sided): 1.4μ, 4.2μ, 7.0μ, and the general plate thickness is 0.4~3.2mm.
Substrate: Cold rolled steel sheet (SPCC), the surface is coated with a zinc layer by electrogalvanizing process, the zinc layer is usually thin (about 3-20μm).
Surface treatment: Electrogalvanized, compared with hot dip galvanizing (such as SGCC), the coating is more uniform and delicate, suitable for precision stamping.
Corrosion resistance: The zinc layer provides basic rust resistance, but is weaker than hot dip galvanizing (such as SGCC). It can be further enhanced by chromate passivation (chromium-free passivation) or oiling.
Processability: Because the substrate is cold rolled steel, it has excellent ductility and stamping performance, suitable for bending, stamping, welding and other processing
