Hot-dip galvanized steel ground solar systems are typically used for ground-mounted installations, where the solar array is fixed directly to the ground and mounted using a pre-made base and metal frame. The base needs to be strong enough to avoid damage due to excessive pressure, and to withstand the tangential (lateral movement) forces caused by wind.
The use of hot-dip galvanized steel increases the durability and corrosion resistance of the system. This treatment is particularly suitable for outdoor use, such as ground-mounted solar installation systems, and can provide up to 30 years of rust protection.
The tilt of the solar array can be adjusted according to seasonal changes to optimize the performance of the photovoltaic power generation system.
