Cold Rolled Oriented Silicon Steel (CRGO) is a type of electrical steel that is commonly used in the production of transformers and other electrical equipment. It is specifically designed to exhibit a preferred magnetic orientation, which means that its grain structure is aligned in a particular direction to enhance its magnetic properties.

Grain-oriented electrical steel - alloy of Fe with up with 6.5% Si, optimised for its magnetic properties, manufactured in laminations or thin sheets (typically less than 0.5 mm) and with crystals of each grain aligned accordingly with respect to the rolling direction.

High magnetic induction cold-rolled silicon steel strips are all single-oriented steel strips, which are mainly used in the manufacture of electromagnetic components such as transformers and chokes in the telecommunication and instrument industries.
