DIN EN 10130 DC01 Cold Rolled Steel
DC01 steel (1.0330 material) is a European standard cold-rolled quality low-carbon steel flat product for cold forming. In BS and DIN EN 10130 standard, it contains 5 other steel grades: DC03 (1.0347), DC04 (1.0338), DC05 (1.0312), DC06 ( 1.0873) and DC07 (1.0898).
DC01 steel exhibits excellent cold forming properties, making it suitable for deep drawing, stretching, and bending processes during manufacturing.DC01 steel is known for its high surface quality, which is important for applications where appearance is a key consideration, such as in automotive parts and appliances.
This type of steel offers good weldability, allowing for ease of joining with other components or structures through welding processes.
Due to its favorable mechanical properties and surface finish, DC01 steel finds applications in various industries including automotive, appliance manufacturing, metal packaging, and general engineering.

Surface Type
Surface quality is divided into 2 types: DC01-A and DC01-B.
DC01-A: Defects that do not affect formability or surface coating are allowed, such as pores, slight dents, small marks, slight scratches, slight coloring, etc.
DC01-B: A better surface should be free of defects that could affect the uniform appearance of a high-quality paint or electrolytic coating. The other surface should have at least surface quality class A.
