Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI)
Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI) is produced by passing the Full Hard sheet which has undergone the acid washing process and rolling process through the zinc pot, thereby applying zinc film to the surface. It has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to Zinc's characteristics.Usually, hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel coil process and specifications are basically the same.

The characteristics of zinc flower coil and smooth galvanized coil：
smooth galvanized coil:
The surface is smooth without any texture, and the zinc coating is uniform. It usually adopts the "no zinc flower" process (such as rapid cooling in a continuous hot-dip galvanizing line).
- The zinc layer thickness range is wide (commonly 40-275g/m², in accordance with the GB/T 2518-2019 standard), with stable corrosion resistance.
zinc flower coil:
The surface presents visible crystalline patterns (zinc flowers) formed by slow cooling after galvanization (such as the "natural crystallization after galvanization" process).
- The size of zinc flowers is classified (large zinc flowers, small zinc flowers), with high aesthetic appeal, but the zinc layer thickness is usually slightly thinner (60-180g/m²).
Packaging and Shipping
1. Galvanized metal & waterproof paper around the coil.
2. Both ends are covered with disks.
3. Inner and outer protective steel rings on edges.
4. 4*5 metal strapping bands and circumferential bands to make it stable.
