Spangle selection: The size and appearance of the spangles formed during hot-dip galvanizing depend on the zinc composition and cooling method, and usually do not affect the quality of galvanized steel. The choice depends on the application and preference.
Large spangles/ordinary spangles: Add elements that promote the formation of flakes, with a rough texture, good weather resistance, and low adhesion. Suitable for guardrails, pipes, rolling doors, etc.
Mini spangles: Formed by limiting the size of zinc grains during the cooling process, the coating has excellent performance and is suitable for drain pipes, color steel substrates, body panels, etc.
No spangles: Adjust the composition of the plating solution to form a smooth and uniform surface with strong corrosion resistance. Suitable for automotive parts, home appliance rear panels, guardrails, etc.
