DX51D+Z is one of many materials in galvanized sheets. It can be galvanized with or without flowers. It can only be easily bent and deformed. Those that require deep drawing include DX52D+Z, DX53...DX56D +Z, etc., and its corresponding materials, DC51D+Z, DC52D+Z,... etc. It can be said that the standards implemented are different.

Key ingredients of dX51d galvanized sheet:
C%≤0.07, Si%≤0.03, Mn%≤0.50, P%≤0.025, S%≤0.025, Alt%≥0.020
Key physical properties of dX51d galvanized sheet:
①Performance parameters: Generally speaking, only galvanized sheets for structural use, drawing use and low-alloy sheets have requirements on strength properties. Among them, galvanized sheets for structural use are specified with yield limit, compressive strength and elongation, etc.; for tensile sheets, only elongation is specified.
②Experimental method: The same as the general cold-rolled steel plate experiment method.
③ Tensile test: Tensile test is an important item to measure the performance of metal sheets. However, the regulations of various countries in the world for galvanized sheets are not consistent. The international standards do not stipulate bending except structural grade. Folding and compressive strength experiments. In Japan, except for structural grade, construction corrugated panels and general corrugated panels, tensile testing is required.
DX51D vs DC51D
DX51D stands for galvanized steel sheet. The first D means flat steel for cold forming. The X means the rolling state is indefinite. 51 is the series number of the steel. The second D means hot dipped galvanized.
If the X become C, namely DC51D, it means that the substrate rolling state is cold rolling. While DD51D means that the rolling rolling state of the substrate is hot rolling.
What's more, it's easy to see DX51D-Z, DX51D-ZF or DX51D-AZ. The Z means that the galvanized coating is Zinc. ZF means that the galvanized coating is Zn-Fe alloy. AZ means that the galvanized coating is galvalume.
DX51D galvanized coils are produced according to EN 10346. The thickness of the zinc coating varies depending on consumers' requirements.
