SGCC GI steel sheet in coil
SGCC GI steel coil to react with molten zinc to form an alloy with good corrosion resistance. Long-term corrosion resistance is good, no maintenance is required, and it is the most economical method of long-term corrosion protection. Iron reacts with zinc to form an alloy with strong adhesion, impact and friction resistance. Smooth surface, with good metallic luster, easy to paint. It has a certain degree of ductility and plasticity, and can be made into various shapes. It can be spot welded and connected easily.
SGCC GI steel sheet in coil is widely used in small household appliances and other general sheet metal occasions with high corrosion resistance. Due to its complicated production process and high technical requirements, it is mainly imported from Europe, America and other developed countries.
Hot dip glvanized steel sheet is done by first pickling the steel fabricated parts, in order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel fabricated parts, after pickling, it is cleaned by ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or ammonium chloride and zinc chloride mixed aqueous solution tanks, and then it is sent to hot dip galvanising tanks.
In the atmosphere, zinc is much more resistant to corrosion than steel, and under normal conditions zinc is 25 times more resistant to corrosion than steel.
