For example, SGCC zinc coated sheet in coil is commonly used in automotive structures, home appliances kitchen equipment, and mechanical equipment manufacturing.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI) is produced by passing the Full Hard sheet which has undergone the acid washing process and rolling process through the zinc pot, thereby applying zinc film to the surface. It has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to Zinc's characteristics. Usually, hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel coil process and specifications are basically the same.

• Production process of

Unwinding and Welding: Unwinding of steel coils to provide the required steel strip for continuous operation and welding of the strip tail of the forward strip to the strip head of the backward strip to ensure continuous production of the unit.

Degreasing and Cleaning: The cleaning section cleans the surface of the strip to remove rolling oil and iron powder to obtain good plating adhesion and surface quality.

Annealing: Recrystallisation annealing of the strip in rolled hard state to obtain good mechanical properties of the product, by controlling the atmosphere in the furnace to obtain good plating properties of the strip.

Air Knife Zinc Layer Control: Control of the thickness of the coating on the strip surface by blowing gas (usually air or pure nitrogen) onto the surface of the strip after exiting the zinc pot.

Alloying: Process of heating the galvanized strip to obtain a zinc-iron alloy coating.

Levelling and Straightening: Rolling of the strip with small rolling forces to eliminate the yield plateau of mild steel, improve the strip properties and obtain the desired strip surface roughness.

Post-treatment: Passivation or other chemical surface treatment of the strip to obtain the corrosion resistance, lubrication and other properties desired by the user.

Trimming: Trimming the strip as required to obtain the appropriate width accuracy.

Oiling: Oil the strip steel to obtain certain anti-rust and lubrication properties.

Through the above steps, SGCC galvanized steel coil products can be produced to meet the requirements.
