What is DC01 material standard?
DC01 represents the basic grade of the DC steel family and is also known under the former designations St12 or FeP01. This grade can be used for simple forming operations such as bending, coining, beading and drawing.
What is DC01 B material?
DC01 steel, or 1.0330, is a non-alloy quality steel with low carbon. Made as flat sheets by cold rolling, it has a smooth surface and good formability. Types include DC01-A, DC01-B, and electro-galvanized DC01+ZE (1.0330+ZE) under EN 10152. Related standards are EN 10130 and EN 10131.
What is the difference between DC01 and DC04?
DC04 has significantly better formability than DC01. DC04 can withstand complex shaping and deep-drawing processes without cracking. DC01 is ideal for simple forming processes such as bending, shallow drawing, and stamping.
What is DC03 steel grade?
Mild low-carbon steel for cold forming
Grade DC03 exhibits excellent deep-drawing capability under all types of deformation. This grade is suitable for forming requirements such as deep drawing and difficult profiling.
Is DC01 magnetic?
Electronic Equipment: DC01 is used in electrical applications where a combination of formability, strength, and magnetic properties is required, such as in the production of electrical enclosures and components.
