1.What are the pretreatment and material preparation equipment?

Uncoiler and Leveler (Uncoiler Line)
Function: Unwinds galvanized coils and passes them through multiple sets of leveling rollers to eliminate curling and internal stresses in the material, resulting in flat sheets.
Components: Uncoiler, feeder, leveler, cut-to-length shearing system, and stacking table.
Output: Flat sheets of fixed length (called "uncoiled sheets").
Slitting Line
Function: Cuts wide galvanized coils along the rolling direction (longitudinal direction) into multiple narrow strips of the desired width.
Components: Uncoiler, circular shears (multiple sets of paired blades), and coiler.
Output: Multiple narrow galvanized steel coils.
Cleaning and Degreasing Line
Function: Cleans the galvanized coils of oil, dust, and other contaminants before they undergo demanding processing (such as color coating).
Components: Alkaline solution spray tank, scrubber, water rinse tank, and drying unit.
Importance: Ensures the quality of subsequent painting and welding.

2.What molding and processing equipment are there?

Shearing Machine
Function: Cuts flattened sheet metal straight to obtain smaller blanks or for trimming.
CNC Punch Press
Function: Punches various shapes, such as holes, louvers, and more, into sheet metal through programmable control. Highly efficient and flexible.
Applications: Chassis and cabinets, electrical enclosures, elevator panels, etc.
Press Bender/Press Brake
Function: Uses upper and lower dies to precisely bend sheet metal into V- or U-shaped bends.
Key: Requires the use of specialized galvanized sheet bending dies, with precise control of the opening and pressure to avoid crushing or scratching the zinc layer.
Cold Roll Forming Machine
Function: Continuously passes galvanized coils/strips through a series of progressively forming rollers, bending them into specific cross-sectional shapes at room temperature.
Output: C-sections, Z-sections, floor decking, guardrails, cable trays, air ducts, etc. This is a highly efficient high-volume production method.

3.What are the connecting and combining devices?

Welding Equipment
Types:
Resistance spot welder: Commonly used for spot welding between sheet metal parts, such as automotive exteriors and home appliances.
MIG/MAG welder: The most commonly used arc welding method, used for welding galvanized steel structures.
Laser welder: High precision and a small heat-affected zone, but the equipment cost is high.
Important Note: Welding galvanized steel produces toxic zinc fumes, requiring a robust ventilation and fume extraction system.
Riveting Equipment
Function: A joining method that requires no heat input, avoiding the damage to the zinc layer and the zinc fume problems associated with welding.
Types: Rivet guns, self-pierce riveters, etc.

4.What are the surface finishing equipment?

Color-Coated Steel Sheet Production Line
Function: Coats galvanized steel coils with an organic coating (paint or PVC) to create a color-coated steel sheet.
Process: Inlet → Cleaning and Pretreatment → Coating (Roller Coating) → Bake-Curing → Cooling → Export.
Output: Color-coated steel coils, widely used in construction and home appliances.
Film Laminating Machine
Function: Applies a protective plastic film to the surface of galvanized or color-coated steel sheets to prevent scratches during transportation and installation.

5.How to choose a combination of processing equipment?

Manufacturing building structural components (C-sections, purlins)? You'll need: a slitting machine + a roll forming machine.

Manufacturing electrical enclosures? You'll need: a flattening line + a CNC punch press + a bending machine + welding/riveting equipment.

Manufacturing building roof panels? You'll need: a color coating line + a roll forming machine.
