• thickness (gauge) – with scope for downgauging thanks to our direct rolling operations which produce thin-gauge material with increased strength
• surface finish – to meet your processing needs and product performance requirements
• width - up to 41.34" (1050mm) but with extra-wide 47.25" or 1200mm material under development for optimized operational flexibility and output
• oils – for protection in transit

Advantages of Tin Free ECCS Steel
1.Excellent resistance to Sulphur Blackening: The metallic chromium in tin free steel has excellent sulphide resistance property when canning protein-rich foodstuff such as fish.TFS compensates for the expensive sulphur resistant lacquer.
2.Excellent heat resistance: High-temperature baking causes neither discoloration nor deterioration in material properties.
3.Excellent filiform rust resistance: TFS has a excellent under film corrosion resistance.
4.Excellent paint adhesion: TFS has excellent paint adhesion properties that far surpass those of ETP, allowing its use for making DRD cans and adhesive bonde cans.
5.Excellent alkali resistance: The coating in TFS is not amphoteric. Alkaline products such as detergents and dispersion colours can be packed in TFS with advantage.
