Galvanized steel coils

Galvanized steel coils are made by dipping the steel sheet into a molten zinc bath to form a layer of zinc on the surface of the steel sheet. They are mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel sheet is continuously dipped into a molten zinc bath to form galvanized steel sheet.
After the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is pulled out of the zinc pot, the appearance of the crystal grains formed as the zinc layer cools and solidifies is called spangles. The size, brightness and surface morphology of spangles depend on a series of factors, but they are mainly related to the composition of the zinc layer and the cooling method. Galvanized steel coil has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.
Hot dip glvanized steel sheet is done by first pickling the steel fabricated parts, in order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel fabricated parts, after pickling, it is cleaned by ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or ammonium chloride and zinc chloride mixed aqueous solution tanks, and then it is sent to hot dip galvanising tanks.
In the atmosphere, zinc is much more resistant to corrosion than steel, and under normal conditions zinc is 25 times more resistant to corrosion than steel.
