S355MC: Bending radius ≥ 1.5t, good deep drawing performance.
S355JR: Bending radius ≥ 2t, avoid sharp bending cracks.
18. Recommended welding process (automotive)?
CO₂ gas shielded welding (mainstream).
Welding wire: ER50-6.
Current: 180–240A, pass temperature ≤ 250℃.
19. Post-weld heat treatment required?
Generally not; for thick plates/high-stress parts, stress-relieving annealing at 550–600℃ is recommended.
20. Surface treatment (automotive corrosion protection)?
Pickling → Phosphating → Electrophoresis/Spraying; Pickled plates show a 30%+ increase in coating adhesion.
