Galvalume steel an alloy plating steel sheet which combined the best of the advantages of zinc (self-sacrificing properties, anti-alkaline) and aluminum (durability, heat resistance, acid resistance).
The weight of the plating layer is made up of 55% aluminum (Al), 43.4% zinc (Zn), 1.6% silicon (Si). The volume of the plating layer is made up of more than 80% of aluminum so it can take full advantage of the benefits of aluminum, while minimizing the weakness (red rust on the exposed parts) through the self-sacrificing property of zinc.
Great durability
Compared to galvanized steel plates of the same plating thickness, the durability is 3~6 times better, and we ensure that it will maintain its full performance for 20 years in standard residential areas.
Great heat resistance
The aluminum content of the plated layer is 80% (volume ratio) and can be used for long periods of time even in ultra-high temperatures (315℃) without surface distortion or oxidation.
Great paintability
Compared to galvanized steel sheets, the paint adheres well to the plating layer.
Great machinability
Machinability is almost identical with galvanized steel sheets. In particular, there are less fine cracks in the plated layer during the machining process, making the machined parts more durable.
