Photovoltaic mounts are the "skeleton" of the power plant system and are special structural elements designed and installed to support, fix and rotate PV modules in a solar PV power system. Photovoltaic brackets need to be used for a long time in a specific environment. It has strong mechanical properties such as wind pressure, snow pressure, earthquake resistance and corrosion resistance to ensure normal operation under various harsh environments such as sand, rain, snow and earthquake, and its service life is generally required to be more than 25 years.

Solar bracket is mainly divided into fixed bracket and tracking bracket. The fixed bracket takes the inclination angle of the PV panel that gets the largest amount of solar radiation in a year as the installation inclination angle of the bracket; the tracking bracket consists of three parts: structure system (rotatable bracket), driving system, control system (including communication control box, sensor, cloud platform, electric control box and other components), which tracks the sun's altitude angle and azimuth angle through motor control to get more solar radiation and thus increase the power generation. The fixed bracket structure form is simple, the technical threshold is low, the operation cost and maintenance cost is very low, and the price is also low. Tracking brackets require power units to adjust the angle of the panels, with low stability, weak wind resistance and higher operating costs, but high power generation efficiency. According to HDsolar research data, tracking brackets can thicken power generation by about 8%-30%.
